Monogram

I adore monograms.
I have loved them since I was a child.
I am sure my undergarments were monogrammed.
Everything was embroidered!
I was brought up in the deep south.
You know how we southerns love our monograms.

This is a chair in one of my client's bathroom.

So you can see how I like monograms!
Above are a few of my things that have monograms.

I adore this pillow!
I had it monogrammed with the year I opened the shop.

In a kitchen of a client!
Monogrammed range hood.

Monograms seem to make everything personal.
When designing, I use them whenever I can.
Tell me what you think about monograms, dear readers.
I would love to hear from you...

Love,

Peggy

  3. Good evening beautiful Peggy! I LOVE MONOGRAMS! My mother never had monogrammed towels or pillowcases, so I grew up without having this in my home. But there is nothing more than monogrammed linens to really add the extra touch I love in a French home. Oh, that kitchen stove hood...it looks like mine, only mine has gold fleur de lys!!!

Thank you so much for coming to visit and leaving a comment. It means so much to me that someone would bother to even listen to the must that adds to my ideas. HUGS! Anita

  4. Peggy,
I think that a monogram is like a family crest- it speaks of history, old money, tradition, and heritage- as in old family names etc. This is why we associate a monogram with "class" - and you have a LOT of class!

  5. Hi Peggy,
I am a true southern gal so of course I love monograms. I just bought a set of monogrammed towels and had a vintage pillow monogrammed. Love the pillow with the date you opened your shop.
    xx,
