Getting Ready For Christmas

It's Christmas tree time, and I am excited as a child.
Remember when you were a child and knew Santa would find you?
So this year I am decorating the tree for him.
Come look!

The tree was put up dressed with the Chinese puppets.
Plus red balls, lights, and stars.

Here are some closeup pictures of the Chinese puppets!

They love being on the Christmas tree.
I know because they told me.

Along with the puppets we have some lovely red balls.

Also we have Santa Claus on the Christmas tree

This was a Chinese man I found at Pearl River in NY some years ago.

I dressed the Christmas tree for Santa Claus.

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"

Got the Christmas tree up!

You can see my needlepoint pillow I made.

The tree before I brought it in the house.

The smell is so grand from this tree. 

As the lights go up

The lights had to be arranged & that took hours. 

During the time when lights were arranged the puppets made an appearance.

I did a post about them previously here and here.
  They make it on the tree each Christmas.

Each face is different. 

Among the puppets are these flat Chinese dolls, I have had for ages. 

A new addition this year is the angel on the top of the tree.

And this is the tree, all in its Christmas finery.
 At last it is up!

Finished the Christmas Cards / Holiday Cards.

Also got Mr. Bambi in his Christmas outfit. 

I am ready to welcome Santa Claus!(and gifts)
I have a few more things to do.

BAMBI is getting ready for Santa

I rescued this dear(deer) from a Pawn shop garbage can! 

20 years ago 

Bambi is now safe with me + with the seasons, different outfits. 

She likes to wear a festive scarf,(need to find it) 

so the tree goes up on Dec. 1st 

and the lights go on
