Dinner Party

Between Christmas and New Years-what is that week? I like to say goodbye to the old year & Hello to the New Year-what better way than a tiny dinner party!

Jade plant for luck and white roses just because they were lovely

Napkins(big)monogrammed with numbers - don't ask? but I have a passion for numbers & letters so these in the shop are monogrammed-lucky napkins they found a new home this week-

but for now the table was set in the shop Braswell

Wonderful glasses-(mixed) because that includes a little bit of everyone's taste
-a little bit of this and a little bit of that-from mom and grandmother or just odd glasses picked up along the way

And with some lovely animals-the table is set at BRASWELL ready for dear guest to arrive!

Happy Christmas

London Christmas Lights

Who knew blogging would bring me so much joy + many new friends.
I must admit I was dragged kicking & screaming into the blogging world-and now I treasure all my new blog friends!

Thank you so much to everyone. May you have the best holiday ever.

Rainbow over Los Angeles, CA

Rain clouds over LA?!?????? the storm is on it's way - we had 7 days of hard rain + thunder &  lighting

"it never rains in sunny CA"- you're kidding!

and on Dec. 22 after all the rain, this Rainbow appeared
in front of BRASWELL's

Thank god the rain stopped just in time for the holidays!

In the blog  French Essence by Vicki Archer, I won a giveaway, this glorious book of Vicki's.  -isn't that exciting-for me it was beyond the beyond and to top it all off it came on 12/ 22/ 2010. What a great Christmas sussy.

Oh! Sussy means present!

This is the book-isn't it beautiful and the text is just as wonderful

Here the are some of the presents under the tree at BRASWELL's

French Essence was so delightful+beautiful had to purchase one and give to Janet for Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
 Thank you Vicki Archer...

Walking in London Part II

This is part II of the walking tour I took of London in November. It was before Thanksgiving and the Christmas Lights were all up.
London was looking very festive.
Take a look.

The double decker bus is so cool don't you think so - It was getting dark so I took the bus.

Look at all these lights.

Amazing lights.

This was a Christmas tree on Kings Road.

These are windows that were dressed up for Christmas.

They had little mushrooms all over the floor.

And the dining table covered in tin is similar to the one we have at BRASWELL's.

Another view of the window

It was getting really dark when I took this picture-you can see the Union Jack chair peaking around the corner.

And....there is the bus to pick me up+Happy Holidays to all of you!

London's Chinatown

The one place I want to go in every city I visit?
China Town...
These are a few images of London's.

One of the entrance's to China Town-I love their architecture

The Golden Dragon is a restaurant - Very good I ate here.

OK  this looks like chicken feet-not for me! but the Chinese love them.

I just liked this picture.

And so I left China Town - I loved it what did you think?

Walking in London

Here are some pictures as I was strolling around London. Take a look!

Around King's Road

Love those double decker buses-

Food and Shoes.... It doesn't get better

These were too cute not to show you

The weather was perfect for walking. A big snow storm hit London that weekend-I was glad to be back in sunny LA.
More to come on my adventures in London!
