Urban Unveiled at Vibiana + A Thank You!

Some of you read about our doing a booth for Harry Warren Entertainment at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.
We've done a wedding for a client at Vibiana not too long ago.
We can finally show pictures of the event and the booth we did for Harry Warren Entertainment.

This is what greeted everyone as they came into the event.
California Wedding Day's Urban Unveiled
It was projected on the wall.

These are the Flor carpet tiles. The space for the booth was 8' x 8'.

Everyone was hard at work getting ready for the show.

Here are our balloons being blown up the day of the event.

These are a glimpse of the balloons from underneath.

A life size cut out of Harry Warren surveys it all with one red balloon.

The theme of the show was The Great Gatsby.
We used lots of pearls + black & whit.
The flowers were from Sticks & Stones Floral Design.

A close up of the tray with pearls, feathers, flowers, champagne + glasses on the back table.

The guest book on the table.

We are ready for our close up Mr. Demille...

Here you can see the weights for the balloons on the white carpet squares.

A vendor close to our booth was hanging chandeliers.

Vibiana is just a breathtaking place.

This car was so special... it was parked in the patio area.

Another shot of the patio as they were getting ready.

What would a wedding show be without wedding dresses?

At night

We had such a great time setting up Harry Warren Entertainment's booth at Vibiana.
It was a great success!
What do you think, dear readers... I treasure your comments.

+ Thank you Anita, you were a gracious + amazing hostess for French Week.

Love,

Peggy

Flor- Carpet Tiles

We are doing an event for Harry Warren Entertainment at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles called "Urban Unveiled".
It is a wedding event and the theme is The Great Gatsby.

Harry Warren Entertainment has wonderful songs such as "At Last", and we are very excited to be a pert of this.

Our space is 8' x 8', so we decided on using Flor carpet tiles in black & white in keeping with the theme.

Vibiana has strict regulations- we have done weddings there.
We know what can & cannot be done.

We will take pictures of the event for a future post!

This is the dining room where we laid out the pattern of the Flor carpet tiles.
As you can see I have a leopard carpet!
I adore animal print and use it as a neutral.

This is the box the Flor was shipped in. We needed 15 black and 15 white tiles for an 8' x 8'.
A single carpet tile is approximately 20" x 20".
Janet figured out how many we needed!
Whew, these boxes were quite heavy when they arrived...

This shows how the pieces fit together.
They were tapped so they wouldn't move as the edges were being cut.

Here is a picture of the Flor tiles in a black & white pattern.
As you can see the edges had to be cut.

Here is the finished product.
This is what the rug looked like when it was finished.
These will be taped down on the day of the event @ Vibiana.

There is a lot of hard work that goes into putting squares on the diagonal - just ask Janet!
She has done a beautiful job!
Don't you think, dear readers?

Love,

Peggy

Wedding

Here are some snapshots as we were preparing for Maggie & Michael Jelenic's (dear friends) wedding reception @ Vibiana in Los Angeles.Yes, PBID did a Wedding!  Check out Vibiana's website- read the history of the place, amazing.

These images are just a teaser, until we get the professional photos, but that is for another blog post. I promise!

The alter at the front of the reception before it got dark.

This is a shot as they were testing the lights.

Beautiful Southern Ca evening before everyone was brought inside for dinner.

The groom's family is Croatian and a cooked pig is presented at the reception at midnight.
This is a picture we took before each morsel of the pig was eaten!

What fun Janet and I had + all the extra hands that day.
A BIG thank you to each of you!
