Getting Ready For Christmas

It's Christmas tree time, and I am excited as a child.
Remember when you were a child and knew Santa would find you?
So this year I am decorating the tree for him.
Come look!

The tree was put up dressed with the Chinese puppets.
Plus red balls, lights, and stars.

Here are some closeup pictures of the Chinese puppets!

They love being on the Christmas tree.
I know because they told me.

Along with the puppets we have some lovely red balls.

Also we have Santa Claus on the Christmas tree

This was a Chinese man I found at Pearl River in NY some years ago.

I dressed the Christmas tree for Santa Claus.
Tell me dear readers, what Christmas time means to you.
I would love to hear.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Love,

Peggy

  1. Darling Peggy, Your tree with Chinese puppets is gorgeous. I adore them. Very clever idea my dear. I adore putting up my 'ancient' decorations....things I've collected some 40 years ago. They're looking a little chipped and worn these days (a bit like me I guess) but I love them. Christmas, for me, means a time for celebration of life with 'the hubster' and family....and just spreading the love to those people in my life that I respect and enjoy. Have a great one Peggy....and I really love those puppets! Ciao, Robyn

  4. I adore the CHinese puppets. I decorate our tree with Gladys Boalt figures. They are amazing - and they don't break if they fall off their limb! So important over the years!!!
