I Heart Paris

Castles Crowns and Cottages -  Simply Irresistible French Party

I adore so many different European  + Eastern countries, the ideas from all these places fill my head but France is one of my favorites, especially Paris.

I have always loved the French - the language, food, clothes, Paris etc. The internet has now allowed me to visit whenever I feel wanderlust (which is quite often). I am so blessed to be living NOW with all the technology, even through I do not understand all of it.
I can go to France when ever I choose!

Ahhhhh, Paris

A friend who has lived in France gave me a wonderful book, Paris Interiors.
I have gotten so many ideas from the pictures.
Here are a few of my favorites.

Isabelle Adjani
 French film actress and singer

Isabelle slips in and out of different houses.
Here is one of the houses she did with
her great friend Jacques Grange.

Love the portiere framing this room.

The floor is wonderful.

I can peak out the windows to view Paris.

Painting the inside of a cabinet- great idea.

This kitchen looks loved + used, love that look.

Manuel Canovas
Textile designer who lives in a Parisian duplex
in the 7th arrondissement with his wife and three children.

Love the small chair!

Such a beautiful way to set a table.

OK, I adore this corner in the kitchen.

Marie Paule Pelle A journalist and interior designer.
She has taste, flair and very Parisian.

Love that trompe l'oeil screen used to shield a door.

Here you can see the trompe l'oeil parquet wool carpet made to her specifications.

Charming! A sense of deconstructed elegance.

Her whimsical sense

of style shows in this entry way.

Not long ago, I rented a loft when I was in Paris for a wedding.

This is a photo of the roof tops from my window.
Is there any where more romantic for a wedding than Paris?

This was taken out of one of the windows in the loft.

Outside on the patio- burrr, it was so cold outside.

Had to take a picture of the lovely bird's nest in the painting above the record player-

A chalk drawing on the street in Paris - "Girl with a Pearl Earring"

Walking down the streets in Paris.

 Paris, you have my heart!

Dear Readers, hope you enjoyed this little trip to Paris.

Love,

Peggy
