Mystery Orchid!
I have had this plant through all my moves now, from Florida, Texas and California!
A cutting was given to me by Wallace, my god father over 20 years ago!
It lives inside with plenty of natural light or outside(warm weather only).
It is beautiful and the blossom has a lovely smell. I have given cuttings of this plant to others with no problem at all.
The only problem is it blooms once a year and the blossom last only for 24 hours.
A close up of the blossom
The plant itself is a beautiful green color so it looks great year round.

Thankfully, I have plants on the inside of BRASWELL.
Isn't it stunning?
Do you, dear reader, know the name of this plant?
Please help with the Identity!
I am totality clueless.
Janet suggested I ask for your help. What a grand idea!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love, Peggy

Sorry I can't help to identify the orchid but it is stunning, even if only for 24 hours! Have you seen the movie Dennis the Menace with Walter Matthaw? There is a similar story of a short lived flower.
